wmawhite – How great everything is for us? We simply do not know what that one events is or events or that will have the CBI trigger the mechanism that will turn the IQD on to the world. However, we see the numerous indicators that tells us that they clearly intend to do such. [I believe that they want to go back to the pre-war rate.] I agree…they (CBI/GOI) have told the world that is their intent. Keep in mind, that Iraq is rejoining the world economic community…
They are not joining themselves. They need to meet others requirements. They can not make up their own requirements. [I just don’t see how they can implement the Tariffs again without a rate though.] True…the tariffs is one of those indicators that point to purchasing power…the need for it. There are the tariffs, and taxes, international bonds sold on the retail market that require a free moving currency…all are indicators. IMO, Iraq is preparing for something that will permit them to move the IQD onto the world economic stage. When this event is ready they need the tariffs ready, the taxes ready and the bonds ready to go.

Iraq Prime Minister requests for opening of corruption files of Nouri Maliki & his son Ahmad Maliki
Al Baghdadiya TV broadcasted the following report on Thursday, August 13th citing Iraqi government sources:
Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi has sent two letters to the Integrity Commission to have this commission immediately begin investigating on a number of corruption files regarding Nouri Maliki and Baha al-Araji. Maliki heads to Iran
Tomorrow Press / Baghdad: directed Vice President Nuri al-Maliki, on Friday, to Iran on an official visit during which he is scheduled to meet with Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and Iranian President Hassan Rohani and other officials. Maliki’s office said in a statement received “tomorrow Press,”…Office pointed out that “al-Maliki will meet during the visit, a number of Iranian officials in the forefront commander of the Islamic Republic of Iran Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and Iranian President Sheikh Hassan Rowhani,” explaining that “accompanied by a number of political and intellectual figures.”…
