Abadi issues directives to maintain security in Baghdad
The Prime Minister and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Dr. Haider Abadi on Monday a number of directives and orders regarding the security of the capital Baghdad, while directed a thorough review of the proposed federal budget for the year 2018, stressing that the international and national obligations must be secured by the payment of loan receivables and work to increase non-revenue Oil.
The Prime Minister’s Information Office said in a statement received by the «morning», that Abadi visited on Monday the Baghdad Operations Command and held a meeting with security and military leaders.
The statement added that «security plans were discussed to maintain the security of citizens in the capital Baghdad, and achieve smooth at checkpoints, and the fight against organized crime, and the arrest of all those who begged himself tampering with the security of citizens», noting that Abadi issued «several directives and orders in respect of security The capital Baghdad.

Quotes: “Iraqi Central Bank held a seminar on Sunday 10/9/2017 specialist to analyze the phenomenon of compactness in Iraq…” “…the available cash is currently not available as planned and also pointed out that the central bank has a plan to resolve this issue through the development of plans and studies to attract money and Arvadha within the banking system.” So they held a seminar to discuss getting the dinar out from under mattresses. They need to get the deposit insurance law in place and move citizens to smart cards and then the dinar will start to come into the banks.

The Government approves the tasks and mechanism of the Higher Committee for Investment and Reconstruction
The Cabinet approved the tasks of the Higher Committee for Investment and Reconstruction, which is formed by the Diwani Order No. 192 of 2017. A statement issued by Al-Sabah said that the declaration came “on the basis of the public interest to implement the tasks of the Supreme Committee for Investment and Reconstruction chaired by the Prime Minister (Finance, Planning, Construction and Housing, Industry and Minerals, as well as the Secretary General of the Council of Ministers and Director of the Office of the Prime Minister and Governor of the Central Bank and Chairman of the National Investment Authority).
It is noteworthy that the committee is responsible for deciding on the core and strategic issues related to investment promotion, drawing up plans for major reconstruction projects, and removing obstacles according to the priorities of implementation of the Investment Law No. 13 of 2009, The Office of the Prime Minister serves as Rapporteur of the Committee and its Secretariat.

The Minister of Interior meets the President of the Council of State and confirms the support of the ministry to them according to the Constitution
Minister of Interior Qassim al-Araji confirmed on Tuesday the support of the ministry to the State Council of the Ministry of Justice, in accordance with the Constitution and legal legislation.
The Information Office of the Interior Minister said in a statement received by “Al-Ghad Press” that “Araji met with Premier Samia Kazim Mohammed, and discussed with them a number of legal and legislative subjects.”
The Araji, according to the statement, on “the support of the Ministry of Interior to the work of the Council and provide all necessary facilities in accordance with the Constitution and legislation and laws in force.”
Araji praised “the efforts of the Council in the fields of judiciary, administration and legislative formulations of laws and regulations in addition to his efforts to provide legal advice in accordance with the Constitution and Iraqi law.”

Hakim calls for support of national projects
Called the President of the National Alliance, Mr. Ammar al-Hakim, the Iraqi tribes to support national projects aimed at building a state of citizenship and institutions, pointing out that the time has come to see transient entities of sectarianism and transient components and emanating from the Iraqi national identity university.
He urged the wise, a group of elders and dignitaries of the province of Dhi Qar, according to a statement of his media office, to “support national projects and circumambulation around the definition of political entities with honest and efficient personalities to give them roles in the next phase.”

Most of the news you will see and hear is glossing over the very important fact that Iraq has an exemption in this deal. This is a big deal for them, and the more the media ignores it, the more I like it! Kurdish Independence – the date for the Referendum, however meaningless it may turn out to be, is still September 24. This gives us a mere 18 days between now and then to potentially see some big news on several fronts. We are standing by for news to pop, probably out of nowhere, unexpectedly, and possibly groundbreaking. I’m sure you’ve heard the phrase “the calm before the storm”…and I’m not talking about Irma! The first shipment of black oil arrived at K3 refinery west of Anbar
The first shipment of black oil sent by the Ministry of Oil for the first time in five years, was announced on Tuesday by the director of the K3 refinery in al-Haklaniyah district of Anbar province Hassan Murhi al-Jughifi.
“The K3 refinery in al-Haqlaniyah district in Haditha district, west of Al-Anbar, received the first shipment of black oil containing 15 tanks to be operated for the first time in five years and Iraqi operational cadres without resorting to foreign expertise,” al-Jughifi said in an interview.
He added that “the Ministry of Oil supported all efforts to restore life to the refinery, which was affected by the military and terrorist operations, noting that” the security forces and in coordination with the oil police provided security protection of tanks to the area of the field, “explaining that” the management of the refinery and in coordination with the local government In the district of Haditha made a great effort with the Ministry of Oil to obtain the substance of black oil in preparation for the refining operations to meet the need of the judiciary and western areas of Anbar liberated from oil derivatives.

The time for committee’s and forum’s have passed, open up the country for investors to bring the capital needed to rebuild the country and advance Iraq as a whole instead of the elite in government. The red tape and corruption are choking growth. Necessity is the mother of all invention, hopefully Iraq has a plan to do something now.Emotions aside, this is the economic reality of Iraq.

Kaperoni (Dinar Guru) – As I have stated on numerous occasions, any bank that wants to do business with Iraq can. And any bank that wants to do financial transactions can. The lifting of sanctions on Iraq several years ago achieved this. That being said, doing business with a central bank in Article XIV is risky and very few if any will do business with Iraq while they are still under IMF Article XIV. Until they achieve the requirements of Article VIII and accept it, most foreign banks will shy away from Iraq. Think of IMF Article VIII as an international standard.
