Sadr calls for peace companies to protect demonstrators in case of abuse
The leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, on Thursday, called Peace Brigades to take to the street without arms and protect the demonstrators in case of attack, while calling on tribal elders to protect their children demonstrators as much as possible, stressed the need to raise the Iraqi flag on the roofs of houses, shops, buildings and mosques.
Sadr said in a statement seen by Alsumaria News, “As the demonstrator will give you a rose Via, valiant presented to them a rose,” noting: “On those who did not decide to participate in the demonstrations, let him support even a word or moral support, such as disruption of all acts for Friday only.”
He pointed out that “the imams of Friday prayers should address the demonstrations positively and guided,” pointing out that “the demonstrators may need logistical support such as food, drink, medicine and the like, so call on the owners of fair capital to support them as much as possible.”
Sadr called on tribal elders to “protect their protesting children as much as possible, even morally.”
He stressed that “in the event of the attack on the demonstrators .. He continued, “The medical bodies such as hospitals and other necessary facilities not to disrupt their work during the demonstrations,” stressing that “in the case of blocking roads from either party should be aware of the matter with caution and anticipation.”
Sadr said, “If the government cut the Internet unjustly and aggression, those outside Iraq should support their brothers as much as possible,” calling for “raising the Iraqi flag on the roofs of houses, shops, buildings, mosques and so on.”
