Parliamentary Integrity forms a committee to follow up on the dollar file
Information / Baghdad.. Today, a member of the Parliamentary Integrity Committee, Doha Al-Qasir, revealed the formation of a small committee within the committee to follow up on the dollar file in the Central Bank of Iraq.
Al-Quseir said in an interview with the Maalouma Agency, “Parliamentary Integrity formed a small committee to follow up on the issue of the rise in the price of the dollar with the Central Bank and find solutions as quickly as possible.”
She added, “The mini-committee will submit its report in detail to Parliamentary Integrity to clarify the reasons for the rise in the dollar and the parties involved in the case.”
Al-Qusair explained, “There are other committees formed to follow up on the files and according to their specializations to exercise their oversight role accurately,” stressing that “the mini-committee is continuing its work in cooperation and coordination with the Central Bank.”
Member of Parliament Hadi Al-Salami had previously confirmed the absence of transparency standards in the Central Bank auction, pointing out that the Central Bank hides the details of its daily bulletin of hard currency sales.
