U.S. Forces, currently operating in 5 large bases...Member of the State of Law Coalition, Saad Al-Mutalibi, revealed today, Thursday, that America asked its allies in Iraq to stop the work of the committees regarding ending the American presence in Iraq.

Al-Mutalibi said in a statement to /Al-Maalouma/ Agency, that “the recent events in the region and the Iranian response to Israel after the assassination of the resistance leaders called on America to be present for a longer period to protect or limit the attack on its spoiled son Netanyahu,” noting that “the Americans’ presence portends a war inside Iraq between the resistance factions and the American bases.”

He continued, “The Iraqi government must work to accelerate the work of the joint committees in order to remove the danger from Iraqi lands and avoid the destruction of the Iraqis,” noting that “the American presence in Iraq has always been a source of danger, whether by creating terrorist cells or its problems with neighboring countries.”
It is noteworthy that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs had previously announced the suspension of Iraqi-American negotiations, in a decision that surprised all political circles.
