Samson – Dinar Guru Article: “The protesters continue their sit-in to achieve the demands, most notably the dissolution of Parliament“
MilitiaMan
MilitiaMan – Dinar Guru Question: “I thought that PM K could dissolve parliament on his own, not needing any vote from Parliament…. Did I misunderstand..?” There was speculation that Kahdimi could use necessary powers to do so. However…there is a likelihood that a more specific constitutional way is being used. There are more than one.
Humble1
Humble1 – Dinar Guru Community comment “They can’t do this on a program rate.” That is not an accurate statement, as they can do whatever they want inside of Iraq, as the dinar is used inside the country. What I think you mean is that they won’t attract external investment in a large enough amount to move their country forward at a program rate. [Post 1 of 2]
Humble1
Humble1 – Dinar Guru What makes the difference is not the exchange rate compared to other currencies, but the availability of ease of moving money in and out of the country and the ability to easily convert from one currency into another. The difference we are all looking for is for Iraq to re-instate the Dinar back onto the world markets, and in order for them to accomplish that, they need a realistic exchange rate to go along with the re-instatement, IMO [Post 2 of 2]
BobTheTaxMan
BobTheTaxMan – Dinar Guru IQD Roundup – It was created during the Iraqi war around 2003. It replace the previous currency that once had a value of $3.75…it’s managed by the Iraqi government and the CBI…under a managed float with little change in value for nearly 2 decades. The currency value is 1 IQD to…less than a tenth of a penny. The CBI has often stated their goal is to return to previous levels and stated they could support a $1.17…right now with all these new contractors coming in and the value of oil being what it is I wouldn’t be surprised if it did come out at a much better rate than what we thought...
Pimpy
Pimpy – Dinar Guru The political situation is not stable. You have civil unrest which is not what you want if you’re going to raise your exchange rate. I’m not saying the exchange rate is not going to change. If that was the case I wouldn’t even waste my time. I have Iraqi dinar. I would sell it if I didn’t think it was going to happen…sooner or later these people are going to get their crap together and they’re going to move forward…
Tivon
Tivon – Dinar Guru Gradually and internally reducing the USD price in the country until it reaches 1:1 will probably be the marker to reinstate on the international markets. This makes sense to me. But other alternatives could be at play. At least it’s out there now. I am just wondering how long until equal value is reached within their markets before they decide to release it on the global markets.
Sandy Ingram
Sandy Ingram – Dinar Guru Article: “Could Iraq slide into civil war?” Iraq has not be able to form a government and things have gotten worse. The global news networks are openly asking questions no one wanted to previously talk about…
Mountain Goat
Mountain Goat – Dinar Guru Moving into August already. What will August bring us? There must be a breakthrough soon on the formation of the new govt in Iraq. Already they are saying this election process has hit a Guiness book of world records on the longest. But we all should know by now what the real cause of the delay is really all about. It is about corruption…Can they finally destroy Nori al-Maliki and rid Iraq of him…once and for all?
RVAlready
RVAlready – Dinar Guru It is not the same old story. We are now pretty sure that the CBI is ready to push the button. They will do so as soon as parliament votes in a new president of the republic. In other words, we may be days away from the RV.
Jeff
Jeff – Dinar Guru …The dinar has not changed. It remains…1460. That’s where it’s remained since it was devalued in December 20, 2020. No change has occurred. It remains the same…the banks have to price everything off of the CBI. The CBI is the mother source in this. This is where everything starts against the currency…the rate has not changed.
Militiaman
Militiaman – Dinar Guru I’m a little bit numb. I pinched myself a couple time because at this stage of the game it may not be terribly surprising but this it’s surprising because it’s actually here. We’re seeing the results of all the things we’ve been talking about come to fruition. Things that we never even thought of are happening…it’s time to give them what they need and show them a new exchange rate…
Petra
Petra – Dinar Guru This is great news [Kazemi announcing to citizens a new exchange rate is coming]. I don’t know how to respond. It’s exciting. It’s good. It’s something we’ve all been waiting for for quite some time…
Pimpy
Pimpy – Dinar Guru I had a feeling this was coming in this direction…A revolution is when the people rise up against the government. A civil war is when the country is divided in half – it’s people – and they don’t agree on the same thing… [they] decide to duke it out but you use guns…it looks like a revolution might be starting over there in Iraq.
Samson
Samson – Dinar Guru Article: “After his supporters stormed parliament, Muqtada al-Sadr: Your message has arrived and you have terrified the corrupt“
Sandy Ingram
Sandy Ingram – Dinar Guru Iraqi protesters broke into the parliament denouncing the nomination of the new Iraqi prime minister on Wednesday. Al-Sadr told protesters at the parliament building that their message had been received and that they should return home.
Breitling
Breitling – Dinar Guru Question: ‘If they turn the dinar digital is there a chance there won’t be an exchange process and we’ll be blocked out of the opportunity?’ It doesn’t work that way. Iraq is not going to get rid of their paper currency...for Iraq to say they’re going to have a very small portion of their currency to go digital that means they would be trading on the international platforms…That’s very very good news for us. That’s why those article are coming out.
Clare
Clare – Dinar Guru Article “Detailed statement..Finance announces 25 achievements in implementing the white paper” VERY IMPRESSIVE! IRAQ SURE HAS COME A LONG WAY WITH THE RIGHT PM …AND THAT IS KAZEMI! IMO…
Jeff
Jeff – Dinar Guru Article “Issuance of a late budget law is better than the end of the fiscal year without it” There has been a reasonable amount of gurus that have stated that Iraq will not do any budget at all and that’s going to do just the Food and Security Law. That can’t happen…
Kaperoni
Kaperoni – Dinar Guru The plan from the IMF for the Iraqi dinar was stated in 2013 in the IMF Article IV Consultation. It encouraged Iraq to create the conditions (pass laws, encourage investment, etc.) Then float the dinar allowing a gradual appreciation based on sound principles, economic growth.
Sandy Ingram
Sandy Ingram – Dinar Guru …If the adjustment of the currency occurs…you will have 30 days to set up a legal tax protection plan. If you fail to do so you could end up paying up to 35% of your profits in taxes including state and federal taxes. Are you prepared to give the U.S. government close to $35,000 out of $100,000 with little to no way to get a refund for any of the $35,000? …the moment you earn a profit it the moment you owe taxes…
MilitiaMan
MilitiaMan – Dinar Guru Article: “The General Secretariat sets the ceiling for the salaries of lecturers and workers within the Food Security Law” It looks like they are doing what the Prime minister ordered them to do. While they adjust salaries, etc., they are going to restore the Dollar exchange rate to what is was in a previous era. Hence the need to adjust the rates at which they pay out…
Samson
Samson – Dinar Guru Article: “A new parliamentary movement to restore the price of the dollar to its previous era” Quote: “lowering the dollar exchange rate should be a priority for the next government,”
Jeff
Jeff – Dinar Guru Article: “The framework called for holding a session next Saturday to elect the President of the Republic” You know the major important step we’re looking to see is that government formed…I don’t know how true [this article] is. We’ll know by Friday the credibility of this…
Mountain Goat
Mountain Goat – Dinar Guru Article: “AN IRAQI OFFICIAL REVEALS THE AXES OF MONETARY POLICY TO CONFRONT INFLATIONARY PRICES” As long as they continue down this road of not allowing the outside to invest in Iraq and superficially holding back the currency from its true VALUE and thus reflect it in the RATE they will continue to have these inflationary crises after crises.
MilitiaMan
MilitiaMan – Dinar Guru The CBI is ready as they will ever be to change the exchange rate. They have told us that the starting point for the Iraq Banking sector for Europe will be in France. Not the exclusive point but the starting point…Halabousi, Saleh and Kahdimi…[If] they tell us that they have the three in power and are to stay, then the CBI will likely finish the game within nano seconds around the world out of Europe. TIming… Exposure… Activation… All are about to show the world Iraq is back..
Nader
Nader – Dinar Guru I said there it is, it’s happening. That means it’s impressive. It’ll happen now. It’s gonna go fast now. It’s gonna happen fast. We counter from here to October. They have to set up a government and have to apply for a lot of things, especially Forex. It have to be in Forex…Keep safe. Keep grounded. It’s coming up…
Jeff
Jeff – Dinar Guru Mark my words once they start voting on the president they’re going to change the rate very shortly after probably within a week. It will be very close in time. They only need about a week to form the government…
Pimpy
Pimpy – Dinar Guru Article: “Advisor to the Prime Minister determines one option to reduce the dollar exchange…” When they say reduce the dollar exchange what they’re talking about is reducing the dollar’s value against the Iraqi dinar which is the right direction...
Petra
Petra – Dinar Guru Article: “3 conditions presented by al-Sadr to reconcile with al-Maliki.. Get to know them“. Sadr just laid down the gauntlet! Think of it, he sends these 3 requirements to Maliki (and the citizens of Iraq) for him to step up and face the judiciary for all the crimes he has purported to have committed. If he does not, then in all the eyes of the people and their justice system, he is considered guilty…What a brilliant chess move by Sadr…
