BGG –\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>it appears…that Shabibi is the one who had the “legit goods” on Maliki and others…\u00a0Maliki is trying to counter these reports of his outright theft with “counter-allegations” of huge bonuses and other perks.\u00a0\u00a0IMHO Maliki still has considerable power – it is still a very corrupt structure.\u00a0 However…they are making all these corruption issues with Maliki public now – because, of course, they intend to move against him soon… he’s still working to stay (on numerous fronts)…if they meant to keep him – why go public…short answer – they don’t<\/strong>…Maliki is throwing every vile accusation he can at the National Guard Law… it and the AML Law are the end of him…they have chiseled, and chiseled and chiseled… and\u00a0he’s not as powerful as he once was.<\/strong>\u00a0 [Has parliament finally voted to dismiss the VPs<\/em>?]\u00a0\u00a0not officially – (yet).<\/strong>

Abadi has eliminated those people.\u00a0Maliki is out of power…and now he doesn\u2019t have any money…so he is losing a lot of ground.<\/strong>\u00a0Nobody listens to Maliki anymore. I would think that would mean there was an RV amount inside Iraq. Can you verify this<\/em>?]\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0I am in constant contact with folks there – if there was in in-country RV of ANY kind, I would know\u00a0and I would definitely share that information<\/strong>…\u00a0 I do not believe an “in-country RV” is something we need to worry about. I give that\u00a0scenario less than 1% chance.

They need to increase the value of the IQD and the banks know it.\u00a0 I believe that we are very close due to what the World Bank\u2019s involvement has been with the state-controlled banks in Iraq.\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0Parliament should meet tomorrow. Here in the short term it is more likely of a depreciation of the currency rather than an appreciation.<\/strong>\u00a0Unanimous consensus my amigo says is that any appreciation is a long, long way off, at this point nothing should be anticipated in 2015 & 2016 as well. Question is…Why was the vote scheduled once again on May 25th and instead went into a closed meeting for 12 hrs working on nothing but the investment law…and was said that upon Jabouri’s return from meeting in Germany, Europe required some additional changes to the investment law.
