BGG –\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>This 50k being used meaning something bad for us as investors is “not a real issue” that needs talked about… for them to take their currency that direction would spell DEATH FOR IRAQ…it is MHO the IMF is in charge and won’t let that happen.<\/strong>

tman23 –\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>Certainly the news provides evidence that Iraq is moving forward in a positive way for change.\u00a0\u00a0That being said…the rate change that leads to 3 zero IQD notes being worth tens of thousands in foreign exchange is still only speculation …AND we have no MORE PROOF TODAY then we had 5 years ago that the 3 zero notes will be worth tens of thousands of dollars in exchange… What we have is speculator opinion and hope..<\/strong>. And the only change we see so far regarding IQD is the rate going from 1166 to 1180 (devaluing) and the introduction of a 50,000 note into circulation.

Mnt Goat –\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>Parliament is now in session way over a week already and we have not yet seen much on the needed laws we have been waiting for.\u00a0\u00a0Earlier this week we heard confirmation that the Amnesty law is agreed upon by all and ready for a final vote. The 2016 budget has also been passed, ratified and in the gazette.<\/strong>\u00a0It is now open for spending allocations, but no RV\u00a0(…it is NOT any indicator of the RV anyhow, it was not in 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 and it is not in 2016).<\/strong>\u00a0 The problem of a huge deficit for 2016 still lingers as Abadi and parliament try to find ways to fill the gap.\u00a0Now recent news that they are at least considering under study of increasing the value of the currency as an alternative solution.<\/span><\/strong>

It\u2019s a beautiful sign!\u00a0 It\u2019s because they\u2019ve reduced the note count\u2026where everybody is feeling it.<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0 Inside the U.S. where we have that liquid market that we have for the dinar, about half the people that own dinar actually got out\u2026 but the other half is unwilling to sell so that creates a shortage on both ends from the brokerage firms.\u00a0\u00a0There\u2019s not all this dinar coming out of the middle east like it used to and then on our end it\u2019s not circulating back and forth, the velocity of the currency is not what it used to be.<\/span>\u00a0 This means something very very big for us and it\u2019s a beautiful thing.<\/strong>

SteveI –\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>[The new CBI bank site has been up for a while…This is the first time however they have linked the Old CBI site to the new CBI site<\/em>.]\u00a0 Yes we are all aware of that site being around for some time now,\u00a0but the linking between the two is new and now with new data.<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>[Wasn’t it assumed a while back that when we saw the new website getting activated that we were about to see everything unfold with the dinar.<\/em>]\u00a0\u00a0That is a pretty good assumption. We are getting very close.<\/strong>
