Enorrste (Dinar Guru) –<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0This is the plan. \u00a0It has been laid out clearly and logically for well over a year. \u00a0We should expect that its implementation (the 50k came out 6 month ago) will continue until the CBI is ready to float the currency in early 2017 or slightly before. \u00a0Once that happens the value of the dinar will rise and eventually the 200, 100 and 50 dinar notes will be circulated.<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0By that time the 50k and 100k notes will have become history.\u00a0 [post 3 of 3]

Enorrste (Dinar Guru) –<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Once the ball starts rolling and these 25k notes get pulled out then the value of the dinar can be allowed to rise (float).\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0Until they get those notes out of circulation, however, the value cannot rise and won’t. \u00a0If it did then all of the hoarders would become millionaires, which isn’t going to happen. \u00a0So it is a process, and the introduction of the large notes is a part of the process to entice the people to give up their 25k notes.\u00a0<\/strong>The reduction in paper by 2 to 4 times (each 50k removes 2 25k notes and each 100k removes 4 25k notes) will enable the CBI to then reduce the money supply by allowing the VALUE of money to rise<\/strong>. \u00a0As it does rise the 100k note will become too valuable to hold in a mattress and people will put them in banks if for no other reason than for safety and security. \u00a0Once there they will move to the CBI which will destroy them.\u00a0\u00a0 [post 2 of 3….stay tuned]

Enorrste (Dinar Guru) –<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0 Article:\u00a0 “Central bank: Print category 100 000 dinars , and we are waiting for official approval lowered into the market<\/em>”\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0The reason there is low liquidity in the markets in Iraq is because instead of using their dinars many people are holding them in their mattresses<\/span><\/strong>. \u00a0Thus the CBI has been forced to raise the money supply, not because it wants to but because the economy would collapse otherwise.\u00a0The introduction of the 50k and 100k notes is directed to solving this liquidity problem, not by just injecting new cash into the market…so that they can draw out the 25k notes from people’s mattresses. \u00a0There is also a stated goal to have bills roughly equivalent to our $50 and $100 notes.<\/strong>\u00a0If they are successful these new bills will draw out the 25k notes which will be destroyed…\u00a0\u00a0The result will be a reduction in the money supply back to 40 trillion dinars as the article states.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0This plan of introducing the larger notes has a goal of stopping the rise in the money supply<\/strong>…It is necessary because the people are not yet confident in using banks.\u00a0\u00a0 [post 1 of 3….stay tuned]

Enorrste (Dinar Guru) –<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0Money supply is increased or decreased through monetary actions of the CBI\u00a0<\/strong>(changing reserve requirements, interest rates, etc.). \u00a0The bills themselves do not raise the money supply. \u00a0They are only carriers of the money supply<\/strong>. \u00a0The quote above clearly states that the introduction of the large notes “is not added cash<\/em><\/span>.” \u00a0What could be more clear than this statement? \u00a0Simply put, you can’t just “add cash” in any case: \u00a0someone has to buy the large notes with smaller notes. \u00a0It is at worst an even exchange.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0At best however, as the quote above clearly states,\u00a0the smaller notes brought in through the even exchange are “withdrawn” by the CBI, thus either maintaining or LOWERING the money supply rather than increasing it.<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>This is simple economics: \u00a0the money supply doesn’t change by printing notes! \u00a0It changes by CBI actions in the monetary markets.\u00a0\u00a0The money itself is only a “carrier”, not a vehicle of change upward in the supply.<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0In fact, as the CBI burns old notes the money itself can ONLY reduce the money supply, and NEVER increase it.<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0No one just prints notes and hands them out for free!<\/span>\u00a0 [post 2 of 2]

Enorrste (Dinar Guru) –<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0 Article: “Central bank: Print category 100 000 dinars, and we are waiting for official approval lowered into the market<\/em>”\u00a0 Kap’s [Guru Kaperoni] quote of the following makes this perfectly clear:\u00a0\u00a0“The new offering is a partial solution to the problem of the Iraqi currency\u00a0after the CBI dismissed an earlier decision to delete the three zeroes from the local currency and opted to balance the exchange rate of the dinar against foreign currencies in a basket<\/span><\/strong>. He states that the new category is not added cash, but rather will facilitate with\u00a0withdrawal of less value categories<\/span>\u00a0and equivalent the size of the presented bank notes. The amount of the currency raised will be nearly 40 trillion dinars which will be at same time put small categories in process and prevent inflation<\/em>.”\u00a0\u00a0One doesn’t just print 100000 dinar notes and then start passing them out to people. \u00a0The notes are brought into circulation ONLY in exchange for other notes.<\/span>\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0There is no other way to introduce them, quite frankly.\u00a0\u00a0The increase of money supply has nothing to do with the notes themselves.<\/strong>\u00a0 [post 1 of 2….stay tuned]

Breitling (Dinar Guru) –<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0 I want to throw this out about the note count\u2026these guys who are anti dinar and anti Vietnamese currency\u2026on the Vietnamese currency they CORRECTLY said there\u2019s too much currency in circulation.<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0\u00a0That\u2019s true\u2026that\u2019s the whole point.<\/span>\u00a0 That\u2019s why we have to watch for them to reduce the note count.\u00a0\u00a0Now with the Iraqi Dinar it\u2019s completely opposite.\u00a0 They are INCORRECT on reading the DM1 and DM2 interim report.\u00a0<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0They need to get out [of dinar] if they think there is that much currency out there\u2026It just happens to be equivalent to the country\u2019s reserves?\u2026There is simply NO reason to reduce the note count if they\u2019re gonna pretend that they\u2019re going to take the zeros off it. \u2026There\u2019s no reason to reduce the note count if they\u2019re NOT going to add value to it.<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0 Why would you do that?\u00a0\u00a0 So that\u2019s the game.\u00a0 If you see any country at all that mention or give out any information that says they\u2019re reducing the note count\u2026I\u2019ll go buy the currency.\u00a0 doesn\u2019t matter who it is\u2026if they are reducing the note count go buy the currency cause you\u2019re going to make money.

Kaperoni (Dinar Guru) –<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Article:\u00a0\u00a0 “Central bank: Print category 100 000 dinars , and we are waiting for official approval lowered into the market<\/em>”\u00a0\u00a0 the CBI has stated on at least a few occasions the intent of the 50k and 100k.\u00a0 We may not agree with it, but I don’t think we should argue with that explanation…the purpose is to create demand for the dinar and raise nearly 40 trillion dinars.\u00a0 The 50k note which has been out for 6 months or more has not increased the money supply…compared to this time last year.\u00a0 In other words, the CBI is doing what it said they would be doing (2-25k=1-50k).\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0 …I do not think this is bad news at all.\u00a0 In fact, this decision was made over a year ago and stated it was a step towards currency reform.\u00a0\u00a0So, in fact, if it is a step, we are progressing towards our goal.\u00a0 Don’t lose site that currency reform means raising the value and removing the larger notes.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0This is a must for what Iraq needs to do moving forward.<\/strong>

Where do we turn our eyes to = next?<\/em>]\u00a0\u00a0Not exactly – but moving more and more that direction…<\/strong>\u00a0 [Amnesty and J&A?<\/em>]\u00a0 I just don’t agree fully with the “all good – all done” mentality… getting MUCH closer – to be sure<\/strong>…AND it’s not impossible these last few Parliament issues are on a separate track altogether…as in parallel and not interfering with one another…\u00a0once the IMF and UN has whatever it is they are requiring (and there is something there) they make the next move (we are looking for) toward economic reform<\/span>…BTW – currency reform is just one more step in the development of Iraq into a global trade partner they are looking for…which they very much appear to be on a fast-track towards.<\/strong>

Kaperoni (Dinar Guru) –<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0 Article:\u00a0 “Central bank: Print category 100 000 dinars , and we are waiting for official approval lowered into the market<\/em>”\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Well, a 100,000 dinar note is going in the wrong direction in regards to opening the banking system for international commerce, freedom of movement of capital, achieving IMF Article VIII etc. and perpetuate a market economy<\/strong>. I believe this was discussed at the time of the release of the 50k and the CBI stated their was no need for the 100k.\u00a0\u00a0That being said, if the notes are issued and are meant to reduce the physical notes (4-25k for 1-100k), then it may help draw the dinar out from under the mattresses. This all seems a bit late, since time is not on their side for such a plan anymore.<\/strong>\u00a0They need to open the banking system, reform the currency and value, and invite international investment and investors to Iraq now.\u00a0Such a move IMO is risky and unnecessary at this time and would cause further delays.<\/strong>

Those prices will not be brought down in price importing them with a currency less valuable than a dollar.
