It just doesn’t seem likely<\/em>…]\u00a0\u00a0...is not a choice. It is not something that decided randomly, but an event as part of the CBI’s monetary policy<\/span>.<\/strong>\u00a0To simplify, the CBI has what it calls a Capital Account…in which investment funds are that come through the banking system end up in.\u00a0As the Capital Account grows, so does inflationary pressure on the Iraqi economy. As a result, the CBI, must have a more flexible exchange rate (some type of float) to counter this pressure.\u00a0In other words, as investors and investment comes into Iraq, the exchange rate will rise.<\/span>\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0 [post 2 of 2]

That being said,\u00a0the CBI is trying to do what is right and they have an agreement (SBA) with the IMF to achieve those goals…It takes time and it is a process.<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0 […can anyone…tell me why the US would give aid to Iraq without something in exchange, example, US insistence that Iraq stay pegged to the dollar<\/em>?]\u00a0 \u00a0The US has said no such thing. Adam Montana (Dinar Guru) – <\/span><\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0 FINALLY, at the tail end of October, we’re seeing the stuff we want.\u00a0\u00a0We discussed briefly earlier this month the OPEC push to reduce oil production.\u00a0 There are a lot of reasons for this push, and I’d say 90+% of the member nations understand and agree with it.<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0 But here’s something interesting… “The head of the National Alliance, said that “Iraq should be excluded from any agreement that aims to cut oil production,” attributing it to “the need for Iraq without the other for this exception being locked in a fierce war with Aldaasha terrorism on behalf of the world<\/em>.”\u00a0 Iraq is getting massive support in\u00a0the fight against ISIS.\u00a0 \u00a0…this kind of agreement is a sweetheart deal for Iraq!\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0Speaking of ISIS…\u00a0\u00a0 [post 1 of 3….stay tuned]

Frank26 (Dinar Guru) – <\/span><\/strong>\u00a0 The IMF is in business to make money with Iraq.\u00a0There is no profit at a program rat<\/strong>e.\u00a0 I told you, I don\u2019t think we\u2019ll ever see 1 to 1. They might surprise us all with the international rate when it does come out. \u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>In the \u201870\u2019s and \u201880\u2019s, it used to be around $2.80. When Saddam took over, it was over $3…and the Gulf Currency is launching around $2.60 to $2.70…which is a fair number to start at.\u00a0\u00a0We believe that the IMF may meet on the 7th of November to see if Iraq completed all they needed to do…but IMO…meetings are ongoing now.<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0 IMO \u2013 the MR consists of the RI…and that is for the IMF.\u00a0\u00a0The international world which consists of the Economic Reforms…which is the RV<\/strong>\u00a0— (which is not a part of the IMF).\u00a0\u00a0The RV is for the international investors.\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0Give us Mosul…and you have the MONETARY REFORMS.\u00a0 Mosul is about 80-90% done.\u00a0\u00a0There is NO STOPPING the Monetary Reform.\u00a0 IMO \u2013 they are doing everything on time.\u00a0 The timing may frustrate you, but I think the timing is brilliant.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0[post 3 of 3]

Frank26 (Dinar Guru) –<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>…within 10 business…(normally 30)…there would be some needed info passed to the IMF or in increase in the rate to qualify with what they are doing within their budget…to do a CURRENCY SWAP with the rate of the IQD against…(possibly) a basket of currencies.\u00a0\u00a0We believe the Abadi and Saleh are sending confirmations\/documentations to the IMF within the 10 days…which are coming to a close<\/span>…all BEFORE November.\u00a0 \u00a0IMO — all an indication of their financial reform.<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0IMO — each member of the IMF needs verification…before any change in rate…to be completed before November.\u00a0 IMO \u2013 that includes a rate change…that deals with contract goods.<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0 The letter to the IMF lets each member within the IMF knows of the rate. Article VIII of sorts provides a sense of assurance that the CBI meets international standards and requirements (and therefore, makes the dinar more internationally accepted at the banks).\u00a0\u00a0What the Rasheed is doing here is a good thing for sure, but Article VIII will also be needed for it to be beneficial to Iraq<\/span>.<\/strong>
