Paulette – Dinar Guru<\/span>\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0Parliament having their first session is irrelevant IMO.\u00a0\u00a0They cannot work on passing the budget until they receive it.<\/u><\/strong>\u00a0 Sudani’s GOI has not passed it yet.\u00a0 All laws, including the budget, have to pass the GOI prior to Parliament receiving them.\u00a0 It is only then that Parliament can commence the First Reading.\u00a0 Thereafter, it goes to the relevant Committee to discuss, review and then return to Parliament with their analysis and comments.\u00a0 The Second and Third Readings can then commence.\u00a0If passed, it can then be sent to the President for signature.\u00a0 After which, it then goes to the Finance Minister for disbursement which often takes upwards of 30 days.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
