Mutlaq: National Guard Law probable delayed approval
A member of the National Alliance MP Hamid al-Mutlaq, on Friday, that the National Guard Law is still in front of the subject of great controversy and seat, believing that the law will be delayed approval so much.
Mutlaq said, “The National Guard Law faced since its introduction on the heads of blocs multiple points of differences and trying to cancel it and replace it by another law.”
He added that in “if passed, it will need to be a long time after all the differences to be resolved through a change in the status quo.” (as in – removing Maliki – officially)

Kaperoni – I think the reality is…that the reserves will continue to erode as the IMF and others have stated if they don’t fix the problems quickly. Unpegging the currency is not an option at this point until the conditions turn for the better. So they have to find alternative sources of revenue, increase oil production, reduce corruption, etc. in order to sustain the auctions. It’s up to them. Otherwise, the reserves will continue to go down…which will end hurting the confidence in the dinar, and ultimately as some have said (Bloomberg), the dinar will need to be devalued.

Iraq’s Kirkuk province has long been identified as a fulcrum for political and ethnic tensions, with the potential to make or break national reconciliation efforts between Kurds, Arabs and Turkmen. BGG – [Isn’t their fiscal year begin 10/1, thus doesn’t their budget run on the fiscal year as well. At that point, doesn’t the revaluation have to be implemented into the 2016 budget?] when they have dealt with the thieves and obstructionists – the door is open… when they move it is just a calculation. BGG – I was…asked what I thought about 2016 and then something along the lines of “what if we get to this first week of Oct – does that mean we’re into 2016“? My response was – “we will really have to get to that place and see what’s been done”… I highly doubt there is any guarantee we land in 2016 without some shift in value – however, I am much more focused on these reforms and attacking corruption than anything else…the progress they make (on this corruption) will decide for me what my opinion will be. LET ME BE CLEAR… THIS IS NOT MY OPINION (only something I have heard)…in fact, the only reason I bothered to mention it – it was based on them dealing with a bit more of this corruption and then they would move ahead… so I believe any of this? Mnt Goat – Wanted to keep you updated on the fight against ISIS and DAASH since after all the physical security of Iraq is a large factor is whether they are going to RV sooner than later. Seems the USA strategy is working to push ISIS and DAASH back into Syria. You see they must isolate them and confine them. Once this is done it is much easier to remove them. Once across the boarders of Iraq they can then secure the boarders.

Frank26 – BIG DRAMATIC CHANGE…remember our #1 concern…SECURITY…it’s now being done faster than ever imagined in Iraq…this is the opinion of I-Team. …today there was a precision coalition air strike on Ramadi…apparently so precise was this attack that it put a great fear into al-Baghdadi, the leader of ISIS….he’s taking his thugs and running back to Syria…They are LEAVING Ramadi…watch for this in the next day or so…What is so SURPRISING is the AMAZING speed we believe things to be happening… TODAY. This precision air strike seems to have triggered something…the Team is not sharing “what” but they are looking towards Oct 4 for something or some things to happen. Watching between Oct 4-8 to see if the Iraqis follow through…confidence level of this is at 50% and IOO (In Our Opinion) could keep growing…and…hopefully the Iraqis will take advantage of us helping to prop up the MR(Monetary Reform). They know we want to help…they know we are there to help…the news should get interesting inside a day or two from now…watch for it.

Mnt Goat – What is really happening with the Mastercards? ...these cards WILL NOT GO INTERNATIONAL until the currency is once again back on the international global exchanges. They can not use these cards outside of Iraq until this happens. Using the cards outside of Iraq means – the IQD rates will have to be in the international exchanges which enables the link to the conversion programs so the new currency can be converted from the country of origin’s currency amount…this did not yet happen…

Frank26 – I believe that Maliki will be the next thing. If this would have happened sooner, Maliki would have been control of the monetary reform. We knew Maliki was a snake … but we got into bed with him. The timing of all of these things are incredible. 400 Million Dollars (USD) was being sold in Iraq … that was a big boost for the USA … so we used Maliki. …sometimes it appears that Iraq is in control – and that is true when it comes to their “laws” … but the US has the powers of the green-light. The laws are important because the investors and the stock-market can’t succeed without them. Well over 100 GOI officials were fired and were replaced with US trained Iraqi’s. In my opinion – they fired every crook! We are not messing around! Nobody “invited” us back – but we’re tired of the “lip-service” … so we’re back! Iraq needs to arrest Maliki … not the US. BGG – the Moody’s rating is good news…whatever it means (exactly) them having a ratings outlook is good…and by the by – it is only a “provisional rating” on their bonds only – however, it’s essentially the data and info they would use on a sovereign credit rating… overall, and in light of the severity of their situation, I took this report as generally realistic..: and positive… as a credit rating agency – it is vital they are reliable in their portrayal to investors… still a reasonably decent outlook – “stable with instituational risk” is probably an accurate picture…What they have “in the ground” and what they can pump, process and sell are two very different numbers… and this is their short term issue – PERIOD. they are still spending too much based on the 2015 deficit and bad projection of oil prices. They have short term crisis – they have discussed (privately) bridging this gap with some emergency currency move…however, until this political corruption is “cornered” they are still discussing options…

Mnt Goat – We are off to a start of a fantastic week! In the many years of following this saga I have never seen such progress move so fast. Some element is definitely behind supporting Abadi and his council. These next coming weeks should be very interesting. I also want to say that when Iraq is ready to revalue their currency and come back as an international player it will just happen. NOTHING WILL STOP IT.

Frank26 – they are running out of time to do this. The Marshal Plan is Bush’s baby. Dr. Shabibi is getting older and fragile … and I believe that speed is a big factor now. Why is Dr. Shabibi important? He knows the software. He’s been protected by the USA (in my opinion) for the last 2 years. ISIS and DAASH is running. Think about it … why would we send Special Opps into the CBI? That was the first place they went. They didn’t need numbers from the CBI … they already knew them. The so called “audit’ of the CBI was a bunch of BS…all of this was done at night so that the mission could be accomplished. We believe the Special Opps did this for Dr. Shabibi – not Allik.
