Mnt Goat (Dinar Guru) – Our 3rd golden nugget of the day – Thursday 11/12 will be the Second reading of a bill defining the mandates of the three presidencies. Wow!   Folks we are [on] the cusps of the final conclusions to what we have been waiting for so long. The news is terrific and we shall see an RV shortly and I firmly believe it will be sooner than later. This is the period of real change Iraq and it is all now happening at warp speed.  [post 2 of 2]

Mnt Goat (Dinar Guru) – Our 1st golden nugget of the day –  We know that last Tuesday parliament conducted the first reading of the 2016 budget. Today we read articles from the news media in Iraq telling us that parliament intends to conduct the second reading of the 2016 budget on next Monday 11/16. Since when have they had two readings in the same week? Our 2nd golden nugget of the day –  …out pops another news article that the Amnesty law will finally get its first reading in parliament.  …just about a week since the passing of the National Guard law they are in fact now addressing Amnesty. I have always known that Amnesty is required prior to any RV.  [post 1 of 2….stay tuned]

tlm724 (Dinar Guru) – it’s no coincidence that the CBI is showing it’s hand right now, think about all we have learned in the last few days, since the the most recent agreement with the IMF and now we have the 50 k note released and further details to the depth of corruption in the banking system… I think the IMF FINALLY got their point across about Iraq;s economic and currency policies!   if Iraq wants to save themselves then the IMF will help them do so, the current trend I see is that Iraq DOES want to save their economy.

Bondlady (Dinar Guru) – just remember this when your thinking of the 50k…its their 50 dinar basically…this is their way to dedollarize, which is better than releasing a 100k… and it helps the keep inflation low…helps Iraqis carry less money…stopping so much use of us dollars which has also been used an smuggled to help fund ISIS and money laundry…forcing them at the same time to apply the anti- money laundry laws and it’ll also pull back into the CBI the smaller notes which will eventually raise the dinar exchange rate for us and more purchasing power for the Iraqi people IMO.

SteveI (Dinar Guru) – …the new 50K note…Iraq has been talking about this and educating the people for the past 6 months or so that this was only a temporary measure to stop the massive counterfeiting of the 25K and 10K notes that ISIS and others have produced. The citizens understand that once the value changes and the three zeros are dropped, then they will be turning in these notes for the final more valuable notes.  This new note from what we have been told is extremely hard to counterfeit and will stop that dead in its tracks. Excellent move as it will draw in all of the 25K and 10K notes inside Iraq and this has nothing with the good notes outside of Iraq that we hold.  Once Mosul is fully under control, I see this changing value fairly quickly, most likely when the 2016 budget is officially put into place. Excellent progress and the end is very near.

Millionday – [so if the IQD comes to a new value of $3 then that new 50K note will be not usable to the average Iraqi at over $150,000.00 US. Only use would be between banks…correct?]  THE US DOLLAR RATE WOULD BE ONLY APPLIED OUTSIDE THE COUNTRY — THE PRICES WILL DECIDE THE USE AND NEED OF SMALL DENOMS AND COINS ALONG WITH LARGE NOTES ETC WITHIN THE COUNTRY — BUT THE EXCHANGE VALUE TO ANY OTHER CURRENCY HAS NO APPLICATION TO THE ISSUING OF NEW SERIES EXCEPT THAT IT IS PART OF THE ECONOMIC REFORM AS IS THE GOAL TO GO TO A MARKET ECONOMY AND ALSO THE RATES FOR INTERNATIONAL RATES AND MARKET FIGURES, BANKING ETC.   [post 3 of 3]

Millionday – [why would they wanna put out a 50,000 note if their planning to raise the value, ie RV?]   THEY ARE NOT JUST PUTTING OUT THE 50,000 NOTE ACCORDING TO THE PLANS I HAVE READ OVER MANY YEARS — THIS WAS DONE AS A ‘STRATEGIC’ MOVE IN THE REPORT I READ AND MANY OTHERS — THEY ALSO PLAN TO RELEASE SMALL NOTES AND COINS BUT THE 50,000 IS MORE SECURE — MANY COUNTRIES HAVE AS PART OF THEIR CURRENCY SERIES VERY HIGH BILLS AS WELL — THEY ARE JUST NOT CIRCULATED ON THE STREETS FOR OBVIOUS REASONS OF GLOBAL PRICING ETC.   [post 2 of 3….stay tuned]

Breitling (Dinar Guru) – This is an official statement from the CBI…they are going to issue the 50K dinar note.  But before you get your underwear all bunched up in a wad and panic…all that tells us is that it doesn’t devalue the currency that you and I have…it doesn’t mean there not going to revalue their currency…it just means that it’s going to float.  This is an indicator on whether it’s going to revalue at 1 buck and 1 shot as a crunch down on liquidity or are they still going to float it and the value is going to go up very slowly and so that’s our answer…they are adding the 50K dinar note and the 100K dinar note.  The next logical question is, “are they adding to the note count?”  NO, they are NOT.  So you have to look at it as a balance.  they probably took off a certain amount of 25K notes and they issued these notes to balance it out.  The statement from the CBI is to get rid of 70% of the currency (liquidity) that’s out there and then go from there…we’ve been watching that.  This hasn’t changed anything.

firefly (Dinar Guru) – Those 50k and 100ks will not be used by the citizens.  IMO they will be used by the government. The lower denoms is for the citizens of Iraq. This is what we have been waiting for!
