When the price of oil rises, it will be the Ministry of Finance more dollars to be transferred to the Iraqi dinar with the central bank. If the exchange rate stable and has not changed, the more Iraqi dinars must be provided for the purchase of which will lead to increased supply cash. Abadi seeks to liquidate al-Maliki and Allawi and Nujaifi relying on our movement protest
BAGHDAD / Hassan Shammari: The leader of the Sadrist Prince Kanani, on Monday, Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi seeks to liquidate his opponents (Nuri al-Maliki and Ayad Allawi and Osama Najafi, by relying on the demonstrators, stressing that the protest movement is in the interest of the end for al-Abadi.
Said Kanani in alone for “Middle East”, and seen by “Sky Press,” that “Abadi Pat derives its strength from the demonstrators, and he was able to cross the protests of the overthrow of the leaders of the senior fold: Nouri al-Maliki, and Iyad Allawi, and Osama Najafi, Saleh al-Mutlaq through package The first reforms last year. ”
Kanani said that “al-Abadi is not weak as many fancy, but it will work on the liquidation of the remaining adult opponents, to take advantage of this protest movement flowing into the end of his interests.”…

tlm724 – In Iraq, the most effective means to control the money supply is through the exchange rate control, because the money mainly arise from the conversion of the Central Bank of dollars of state oil exports to the local currency. If the central bank raised the Iraqi dinar against the US dollar, it will add an additional dinars per dollar purchased from the government. If the exchange rate has reduced the money supply growth rate will slow down. Since the stability of the exchange rate is one of the main objectives of the Central Bank of Iraq, the use of the exchange rate for macroeconomic management was limited. (post 1 of 2….stay tuned)

tman23 – Saying government does not play a role in exchange rate doesn’t make it so… CBI is independent no doubt and there role is to maintain currency stability through the market…inflation… employment …etc…The GOI plays a role in all these matters..

Islandg1211 – We have had a lot of news these past ten days, including: Jack Lew co-signed Iraq’s debt. Banking Reforms were 98% complete. Progress fighting ISIS. Abadi’s five out of ten Ministers replaced. Arrests. Jack Lew, Ash Carter, and Biden had meetings in Baghdad. Government extended this holiday weekend. Plan is needed for who will get credit for Mosul. Protest against the GOI, supporting Abadi. State of Emergency declared. Three presidents met and gave Abadi sole authority today. And Oil prices are in the mid $40s. We have had Intel from Frank(26) that the BIS has approved the RV on April 28. Now, combine both the news and the Intel.

Islandg1211- Frank is…saying that in his opinion he has more than enough data to conclude the CBI is going to raise the rate of their currency. He is stating that he believes there is finally going to be stability in the GOI. Making ISIS extinct, getting a stable government, replacing the CBI Governor, raising the rate, will finally allow this rich in resources nation take off in 3,2,1.

Aggiedad77 – …remember Frank(26) saying “all hell will break loose”…well the confusion was..IMO…nothing but a ruse…Abadi let them into the GZ…Perhaps this is his reasoning for the implementation of Article 61…for then I believe he would be in control and there probably wouldn’t need to be a vote…he knows he’s got the backing of Masum, the Holy Men, and the US…he just needed to get to a point…IMO… where he felt comfortable pushing this forward…or his handlers…US…put the leverage in the right place to make it happen…I see nothing but good coming from this… maybe not today…or tomorrow but in the coming days…all IMO…I think it’s time to BE HAPPY…

Islandg1211 – This has been my only time frame that I personally focused on. I felt that April 2016 was the “targeted” window for the Monetary Reform. When Jack Lew co-signed for Iraq’s debt last week, I was very encouraged, feeling that the date and rate had been set. What is Shaibi’s plan? “The conditions need to be right” according to Shabibi’s plan, including security, stability, and possibly Maliki arrested. With all the Monetary Reforms that have been done, plus the foreseeable security against ISIS, the remaining issue is stability within the GOI. We know Abadi has half his Ministers replaced. Yesterday, he declared a State of Emergency. Today, he had the three presidencies back him up presumably doing it legally under Article 61 of the Constitution. The ball is in your court Abadi. You have two more days of government Holiday. Today, you curtailed any more possible protesting inside the Parliament. We just have to see what Abadi does next.

BGG – [your impression of today’s events?] Probably the best true News Day in a long time…has been running on the Fox news ticker all day long [Saturday]…and since most of us hold their currency – BIG DAY. Very exciting – we think it is “business as usual”…except…it has been running on every channel – all day long since 6 AM [Saturday]…FOX has run this on their ticker over and over and over and over… …protests are about Sadr wanting reforms – Abadi wants reforms – this is good for him in the long run…this plays DIRECTLY into his political “wheel house”…he’s GOBBLING up the int’l attention…Sadr is NOT THE CATALYST…but he is helping get things moved on down the road… [In light of these last couple of days, do you think Abadi will go ahead and call for early elections and replace people by proxi or will he still try and do things through parliament?] looks more and more like – maybe…that only puts Abadi in HYPERDRIVE…good for us. […this didn’t slow things or mess up timing?] when in a “HIGH PROFIT INVESTMENT” – turmoil is ALWAYS GOOD…Turmoil is the catalyst for upward movement… [Any clue as to WHEN?] the IMF already told you when.

Islandg1211 – This OK Corral situation prompted the shutdowns and troops, and may be setting up Abadi to declare a state of emergency which would give him the Constitutional right to act as he sees fit. He could appoint the rest of his cabinet. With the troops in Baghdad, making more arrests, namely Maliki’s safer. Let’s be patient this weekend and see how things unfold.
