Dinar Investor – Jeff   Article   “Adel Mahdi explains to an American delegation his ‘reformist’ project and outline its points’  …Iraq is meeting with the Americans to discuss the reforms.  What they’re showing you guys is that they cannot implement these reforms and really provide for the citizens [because] their hands are tied.  They’re pretty much as high an dry and as desperate for the rate change as everybody else.  Iraq cannot take care of their own citizens until the rate change. They’re basically telling you guys that they’re waiting until that 2020 budget gets approved because the money has to be allocated for everything…

MilitiaMan – Dinar Guru  Article:  “Exchange rate stability”   They are telling the world…that they have achieved monetary stability for foreign investors while suggesting they’ll have a fixed exchange rate. One that will be supported and with little fluctuation. A stable environment in a narrow range of speculation, allows for an attractive environment for foreign investment!!  Just what IMO has been expected by foreign investors for almost tens of years or more, therefore, a strong rate means out of the gate to be good one. IMO. They have stated the Glory Days is a potential goal of theirs.

MilitiaMan – Dinar Guru   Article:  “The work opens the door of new inclusiveness for a full-time appointed salary”  They are talking about 24 hour service and getting text messages as an alert and in all provinces by way of Mastercard… let’s recall they are going to be effectively more of a cash-less society… Did we not here about the CBI moving money in all provinces recently? Full time salary… New inclusiveness!!  Timing of so many things coming together. Love it! IMO…

Dinar Investor – Jeff     This is the date of interrogation of Adel Abdul Mahdi in Parliament …the “government program” is everything that gets implemented.  Better healthcare.  Better lives.  All the government services and resources they will provide the citizens after the rate change…they are waiting on the rate change…they were only able to offer the citizens very little because the government’s hands are tied and that’s because external powers control the timing of the rate change.  And that’s called Donald Trump…The US is the only group that shed blood for Iraq.  We pour trillions of dollars into Iraq.  Trump actually put the tariffs on China and the sanctions on Iran.  The US and the Trump administration are the ones calling the shots, controlling the timing on this.  Not the IMF and Not the World Bank…

Breitling – Dinar Guru   …there’s really nothing else you need to look into or be worried about.  What you need to do is you need to make sure you understand what your exit strategy is once you exchange your currency.    In other words, what are your taxes going to look like?   That’s what you need to worry about.  That’s all you need to be thinking about.  You don’t need to be thinking about how you’re going to spend it.  Because first you need to figure out how much you’re gonna be able to keep, right?  So you have to be thinking on those terms.  [Note: At the appropriate time speak with your tax professional]

Francis Albert – Dinar Guru  deleting the zeros from the exchange rate…as stated by CBI is quite different from the “LOP” Kap continues to pitch.  I think he’s just off base on this one, or the CBI is just making stuff up..which is possible too…

Vital Brad – Dinar Guru   …the demonstrations have continued…The soldiers and the police they aren’t using deadly force.  Things seem to be more contained…Mahdi has not resigned yet but President Barham Salih has come out and said the PM has expressed his willingness to submit his resignation asking the political blocs to reach an acceptable alternative…to avoid a power vacuum….we know what the people want.  They want their wealth.  When the Iraqi people’s currency is reinstated and revalued…Iraq is gonna flourish…their whole environment there will just transform…we’re getting to the boiling point where Iraq is gonna join the free market again and we all know what that means for us holding Iraq’s currency.  They’ve met all the requirement and it could happen any time…

Kaperoni – Dinar Guru   …one of the primary tools and responsibilities of the CBI is to maintain stability meaning if it’s going to go up in value it’ll go up gradually based on pressure/inflation created as a result of significant investment and a private sector. So until the laws are passed, contracts are signed, stability exists there is no private sector. So we wait. The idea of a public-private partnership built into the 2020 budget to launch the market economy/private sector is an excellent idea but we’ll have to wait and see.

Mountain Goat – Dinar Guru   Article:  “KURDISTAN SUPPORTS CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENTS TO CONTRIBUTE TO IMPROVING THE LIVING AND SERVICE REALITY OF THE IRAQI PEOPLE“  Laws don’t do any good unless they are enforced. We have seen this lack of enforcement in many of the laws enacted in Iraq. This is part of the problem with this new democracy.

Chattels – Dinar Guru   Article quote:  “In his first televised address in weeks, President Barham Salih said the country’s embattled Prime Minister Adil Abdul-Mahdi was ready to step down, but there was so far no one to take his place.  “The prime minister expressed his willingness to submit his resignation, asking the political parties to reach an agreement on an acceptable alternative,” said Salih.  He pledged to hold early elections as soon as a new voting law and oversight commission was agreed, but his speech did not appear to impress demonstrators.“

Mountain Goat – Dinar Guru   Is replacing Mahdi’s government the best choice? There are many ways of looking at this. You can see the glass as half empty or half full. I chose to see it half full meaning that it is about time Sadr has put his foot down and demanded the execution of these reforms. Sadr is using the people to fight corruption since he has tried all other means already. …So, this is finally getting done, something that had to take place sooner or later and it is better now sooner than later.

Francis Albert – Dinar Guru   I would encourage not so much pessimism. The CBI is all that matters here. The government over there,  just like any government will always be screwed up. …the idea of a “Fully seated government”…IMO, this never was a problem. It just wasn’t time for OH, so many reasons. You all are fine.

Adam Montana – Dinar Guru  There are positive signs everywhere, but the protests and “civil unrest” that’s going on right now has tossed an anchor out on the final progress we’d like to see.  It’s not something that will last forever. The face of Iraq, Iraq’s current exchange rate, OIL news, and more…all mostly unchanged by the current situation. The country is NOT in a downward spiral… but they are in the middle of an annoyingly long “pause”…We wait…

Kaperoni – Dinar Guru  An interesting article…refers to the CBI making a courageous decision to control the movement of funds in February 2020.  Could this be referring to accepting IMF Article VIII?

Mountain Goat – Dinar Guru   Are these demonstrations in our favor? Will they help get the RV?  Yes and yes. Just think if it. We know there is massive corruption in Iraq especially through the currency auctions…WE know we can’t get the RV unless this corruption is fixed. So at least something now positive is going on to fix it. It may take longer than we want but this is all we can do.

Mountain Goat – Dinar Guru   Article:  “PARLIAMENT WILL VOTE ON THE SECOND REFORM PACKAGE”  The House of Representatives plans to vote on the second reform package in the next few days that was, in part, called for by the demonstrators. Will this include currency reform and the project to delete the zeros?

Kaperoni – Dinar Guru   Sounds like current Prime Minister Abdul Mahdi may resign during parliament tomorrow.

Chattels – Dinar Guru  The Parliament seems to be attempting to implement some reforms in order to avoid the chaos of a caretaker government and new elections, but is it too little too late?  Other parliamentary governments have certainly survived the failure of a government, but this is unplowed ground for the young Iraqi democracy.  Will Iraq survive it all? Tune in tomorrow as the “Iraqi World Turns” in the “Dinar Days of our Lives”.

David M. Witty – Dinar Guru  In Iraq, Muqtada Sadr calls for PM Abdel-Mahdi to resign, followed by early elections. PM refuses. Sadr calls on leader of Fatah Coalition, Ameri, to assist in removal of PM. Ameri says he will cooperate with Sadr to achieve goals of Iraqi people.

Mountain Goat – Dinar Guru   So, we have almost reached the end of October 2019 and still no RV.  …I talked about the US OPAC sanctions and how they are impacting our ability to go to the bank and exchange. But remember also we need the rate on FOREX. This too is very important for us…Once the sanctions are lifted, I am sure the project to delete the zeros will follow and then the reinstatement will happen quickly and we will be at the banks exchanging almost immediately afterwards. 

MilitiaMan – Dinar Guru  Article quote:  “…the celebrations were special in Baghdad by fireworks to celebrate…”  Interesting the celebratory tone in this article…That sort of wording sound like a good thing not a bad thing… Could they have been told about and or shown the small notes and or depictions of them and this is the start of big things to come? Fireworks would be in order for that IMO…

They know an international value related Dinar of a fully compliant Article 8 currency will bring all of those things… ”  The magic of the dinar is a panacea for all the ills of Iraq? Not likely.  It is more likely that peace, prosperity and stability may yield an increase in the value of the dinar.

RVAlready – Dinar Guru    Wow. Baghdadi dead, GOI possibly disbanding, CBI close to RV, reforms to go forward, replacement government. This could be good for everybody. Maybe the replacements will represent the citizens, and not part of the corruption

VitalBrad – Dinar Guru   …Some big Middle Eastern news just came out.  Donald Trump tweeted…”Something very big has just happened!”… [article] “ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi Believed To Have Been Killed” … I believe this is another big victory to getting closer to Iraq’s currency restored.    That whole region needs to be back in balance.  Turkey, Syria, Iraq Iran.  There’s still a lot of chaos going on over there in that whole region and we need peace.

Dinar Investor – Jeff   …Iraq can’t wait too much longer.  If you look at the demonstrations people are getting frustrated.  People want the government to fulfill their obligations to the citizens.  They’re looking for improved lives.  Purchasing power.  Better government services.  Healthcare.  Jobs.  Better housing.  Better lives.  The government has promised them all that but the government can’t deliver that until the rate change…the governments hands are tied because external factors are in charge of the timing of the rate change.  It’s that simple.  There are not a lot of steps left for Iraq to do.

MilitiaMan – Dinar Guru   Even if an interim GOI is installed or not this gets done…I am somewhat surprised Mahdi hasn’t seen by now that since they haven’t yet RI’d just yet, he is ineffective and will be going forward without it. They don’t RI he will be the loser, he resigns he will be a loser. The only way out imo could be,  is for him to make sure there is an RI and quite quickly too. So, let’s see what the week brings. ChrisC – Dinar Guru  Article:  “Barham Saleh holds an emergency meeting to discuss the dismissal of the government and the announcement of a transitional government”   If you really look at the situation, this could have been predicted but is even more bold than I had anticipated.  Remember the picture of him talking to Trump?  Wasn’t it this very guy that Trump said we have some really important things to talk about in private?  …I bet Trump had every person already picked for another govt., they just needed the people to make the choice of getting rid of the old one.  I told you these guys are masters of this move.  They come in and save the day and the people say “who was that masked man?”.
